DUE TO THE SENSITIVE NATURE OF THIS MATERIAL, THE COFFEE SHOP WILL BE CLOSED and NO ONE WILL BE ADMITTED AFTER 7:30PM!
And NO PHOTOGRAPHY IS PERMITTED.
What is the reality of true police investigations? Does that really matter? How does a detective begin to find a bad guy? What’s it like spending eight hours in a patrol car, to be constantly aware that the next stop may hold life-threatening danger? How dangerous is a jail for an inmate or the police officers working inside?
Is human trafficking of young women and men real? Unfortunately, yes.
Hollywood spends millions every year making sure their offerings are as close to the truth as dramatically expedient. A good technical advisor (like Jeff Walker) can make not only technical suggestions, but creative ones that can make your script even better.
Jeff will answer any and questions he can about the reality of being a cop in one of the biggest cities in the world.
Do you have questions? Jeff Walker has answers because he’s worked every aspect of a cop’s life there is including undercover, as a detective, a patrol officer, at the city jail and in SVU (Special Victims Units.)
Jeff’s knowledge is directly from the streets, and he is currently heading up the L.A. Regional Human Trafficking Taskforce.
DON’T MISS THIS! It’s not often we get access to a real cop who also knows the film business!
